Facebook Giveaway? We're getting close...

Thinking about a GIVEAWAY! If I can get 30 "likes" by the end of June, I'll give one of my lucky fans the April Stamp of the Month! Share this with your friends to make the giveaway happen!

Right now, I'm at 18 FANS!  Only 12 more to go and I'll pick a random winner on June 31st.

CTMH National Scrapbooking Month Challenge

Although my challenge (see here for details), runs until the end of June, the CTMH Facebook challenge ends on Friday.  I thought I better get my card up so that it can be included.  (Spoiler alert for the Card Workshop on Friday - this is a card you will see again! :O) )

The callenge simply asked to use the "Dotty For You" paper but I added my new favorite stamp set, as well.  The "Card Word Puzzle" stamp set (see below) has so many options an the bloom in the corner is GORGEOUS!

Here is the card I will be entering.  I would love to hear your thoughts.

Now that I gave you an example, want to try your hand at the challenge?  See me to get your paper today!

My first challenge...

While looking for information on Copic Markers (my new obsession), I came across a challenge that I thought looked interesting.  Runway Inspired, a blog that features crafts that are inspired by runway fashions, is featuring the following challenge.

Tsumori Chisato Fall 2012 (ric#12) challenge is to use Copic Markers to create a card inspired by the following photo:

I love the dress and I immediately saw all the colors, the flowing white material and some butterfly like patterns.  I just received my new CTMH stamps and wanted to use the big blossom from the "Card Word Puzzle" stamp set.  (My next blog will feature that same stamp as well as it works wonderfully with the Dotty For You paper.)

Here is my submission...what do you think?

I'm so looking forward to my first card workshop on Friday.  See you there?

Ok, so I haven't had time this week to do much in the way of scrapbooking but when I saw the June 2012 Constant Campaign announcement, I just HAD to share!

Buy two, get one FREE!  I love these type of sales because if you are smart, you can get a really good deal on the stamps you've been looking for.  And this special works on all regular priced full sets.  Hit my shopping cart below or head over to my site to start looking through the Idea Book now!

Also - remember that my "Dotty For You" contest is running through the end of June - get your papers to get started.

I will also be having an additional workshop on a Friday coming up.  Look for your invitation through Facebook or email.

Oh and Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's, grandmom's, and surrogate mom's out there!  :)

First ever CONTEST (and how easily I forget I have a blog)!

For as many times as I mention my blog, it's funny how when I'm crafting I forget so easily.  I made four candles over the last few days (two during my workshop and two on Friday) but do NOT have a picture of a single one!?!  There are videos and how-to's galore on line and I don't think I can add much but they are challenging.

I have quite a few projects in the works (and I WILL take pictures, darn it!) but for now I've got a lot on my plate.  School, meetings, work, church, women's group, etc.

One thing in the way of an announcment before I sign off.  I am having my first CONTEST!

Inspired by the CTMH Contest using the Dotty for You paper, I will be running a contest as well.  From now until June 30th any follower of my blog, Facebook page, or personal friend can receive two pieces of Dotty for You (CTMH National Scrapbook Month special) paper to get creative with.

 Here are the simple guidelines.

#1 - The most CREATIVE project/card/layout/crafty item will win the May Stamp of the Month:

#2 - The most "creative" does not mean perfect nor will the prize necessarily go to the most seasoned hobbyist.  I want to see creativity in all its glory!  Just have FUN with it!
#3 - The two sheets of Dotty for You paper are free but additional sheets are available for $0.50 ea.  There are 12 styles to choose from.  Two patterns need to be visible on the project.
#4 - The entries will be used on the blog to showcase the uses and can also be entered (if done by the end of May) into the CTMH Facebook contest as well.

Comment below if you need supplies.  As always, you can view the current Idea Book on my CTMH Page (click on the shopping cart below).  Please let me know if you have any questions and happy crafting!
